The first trailer for the upcoming crime thriller The Informer, starring Joel Kinnaman and Rosamund Pike has been released. Kinnaman was seen shirtless and tattooed on the set of the film this week.
In the film, Kinnaman will play an ex-convict turned FBI informant who goes back into prison to infiltrate the mob in order to earn a fresh start at life. But when he goes back in prison he finds himself caught in the crossfire between the mob and the FBI.
The film based on the novel Three Seconds by Anders Roslund and Börge Hellström, was directed by Andrea Di Stefano, scripted by Patriots Day Matt Cook and produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones, Mark Lane, James Harris, and Ollie Madden for Aviron Pictures.
The crime thrillers cast includes Oscar-nominated actress Pike, Oscar-nominated actor Clive Owen, Blade Runner 2049’s Ana de Armas, and Grammy winner Common.
The Informer is expected to hit theaters on March 22, 2019.
