Jessica Simpson Accused Of ‘Inappropriately’ Dressing Daughter Maxwell, 11, In Photos After Fans Express Alarm Over Her Dramatic Weight Loss

Jessica Simpson can’t catch a break with her fans. After she posted a photo of herself and daughter, Maxwell Drew, 11, in revealing outfits with the caption “take your Barbie to work,” fans weren’t having it. Many called the excessive make-up and clothing choices “inappropriate” for an 11-year-old.

The photo was taken at PetSafe Unleashed event in L.A.

One wrote, “She’s 11!!!!! Slow it down… “Pretty baby” flashbacks…..”

Another commented: “If you would ask me I would have guessed her age to be 13 14 by the way she was dressed and looked. We try to age faster than we need to. We all try to look older when we were younger. It’s up to the parents to make sure that we dress appropriately for our age. Beautiful girl beautiful mother.”

This comes on the heels of an outpouring of fan concern about Simpson’s dramatic weight loss in recent months. Fans flocked to the comments section after the reality star posted a gaunt-looking photo of herself to Instagram for a Pottery Barn Kids’ social media post.

It’s not all bad press for Simpson – she recently celebrated the release of video footage that showed more her side of the relationship with Nick Lachey on the MTV series Newlyweds, where she was often portrayed as the source of conflicts.
