Jennifer Lopez at the 'Perfect Match' premiere
In the newest addition of James Corden very popular “Carpool Karaoke,” the late night host invites superstar Jennifer Lopez to take on the challenge.
Lopez took some time to sit back and relax with Corden and revealed that she’s been proposed to five times.
The two sang along to Lopez’s biggest hits including “Jenny from the Block” and “On the Floor,” but the highlight of the carpool was when Corden hijacked the singer’s phone and texted Leonardo DiCaprio.
Corden had his pick of a plethora of stars including Demi Lovato, The Rock, Bradley Cooper and Fergie but he picked the Oscar winner. Corden scrawled out this hilarious text and hit send:
“Hey baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know, JLo, you know, from the block.”
After a few minutes went by and two jammed to more of her hits, her phone buzzed with a text back from the actor.
“You mean tonight, Boo Boo? Club-wise?” the star of The Revenant texted back.
JLo’s reaction and response were just as funny as DiCaprio’s text. “The funny part is that he actually thinks I’m serious,” she says. “I don’t… He thinks this was me!”
The two shared a laugh and continued to dance and sing to Lopez’s “Booty” before the segment ended.
Catch Lopez in the Shades of Blue season finale Thursday March 31 on NBC, and the American Idol series finale April 7 on Fox.
