Jennifer Hudson To Perform On American Idol Finale
Songstress Jennifer Hudson will be taking the American Idol stage one last time before the show wraps up on its April 7 finale.
Last week, American Idol announced that the series finale would feature performances by Hudson, Season 1 champion Kelly Clarkson, and Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood.
The official Twitter for the show tweeted, “JUST IN: @IAMJHUD is joining the epic group of #Idol alums for our #IdolFinale!”
The Academy Award winner first auditioned for the reality singing competition in 2003 and placed seventh on the show’s third season. The singer and actress will be pre-taping her performance due to her starring in the Broadway show, The Color Purple.
