Jennifer Hudson Set To Perform On ‘American Idol’ Finale
Songstress Jennifer Hudson will be taking the American Idol stage one last time before the show wraps up on its April 7 finale.

Last week, American Idol announced that the series finale would feature performances by Hudson, Season 1 champion Kelly Clarkson, and Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood.

The Academy Award winner first auditioned for the reality singing competition in 2003 and placed seventh on the show’s third season. The singer and actress will be pre-taping her performance due to her starring in the Broadway show, The Color Purple.
