Jennifer Aniston Steps Out In NYC After Shutting Down Pregnancy Rumors

Jennifer Aniston and her husband Justin Theroux were spotted shopping in New York City after shutting down rumors that they are expecting their first child together.

Pictures emerged earlier this week of Aniston and Theroux on vacation in Eleuthera, Bahamas. Tabloids suggested that the bikini-clad Aniston looked like she was sporting a baby bump and pregnant with her and Theroux’s child. “It looks as though she could be between two and four months pregnant,” InTouch Weekly quoted one doctor as saying. They quoted another that claimed, “The telltale signs are the isolation of the weight gain in the abdomen and the lack of weight gain in the legs, arms and buttock region.”

Following the reports, Aniston’s rep Stephen Huvane blasted InTouch for fabricating the baby news.

“She is not pregnant. Shame on InTouch for making up the whole story, but this is not the first time they have done so,” Huvane told Entertainment Tonight. “What you see is her having just enjoyed a delicious big lunch and her feeling safe on private property.”

Aniston has been the subject of pregnancy rumors throughout her time in the spotlight. The former Friends star acknowledged the attention and pressure just last year.

“I don’t like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women — that you’ve failed yourself as a female because you haven’t procreated,” she told Allure magazine. “I don’t think it’s fair. You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t mothering — dogs, friends, friends’ children. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is.”

Aniston and Theroux, who first started dating back in 2011, were married last August.
