While film and television entertainers were holding up their picket signs for the SAG-AFTRA strike on the west coast, actor Jason Sudeikis, along with numerous others, was doing the same in the East.

The Ted Lasso star is one of the thousands of actors and actresses fighting for issues they are currently facing in the entertainment industry.

Those in New York City gathered in front of NBC Universal at the 30 Rockefeller Center to stand in unity with SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.)

It’s unknown how long the strike will last, but Sudeikis told CNN that he would picket for “as long as it takes.”

Other famous faces in the New York City picket line were Susan Sarandon and comedian Alex Edelman.

Last Thursday, SAG-AFTRA announced they would be going on strike after they had a disagreement over what their final contract would be with AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.) On that same night, the Oppenheimer cast walked out on their premiere in London to fight for their fellow entertainers.
