After going through a recent breakup with his Selling Sunset co-star Chrishell Stause, real estate broker Jason Oppenheim admitted that he’s not looking forward to watching the new slate of Sunset episodes just released on Friday that show both the best parts and beginnings of the end of their five-month relationship which ended in December 2021.

“I think it’s going to be sad and I’m not looking forward to it at all,” Oppenheim told People. “This has not been an easy breakup for me at all, my most difficult for sure, and I’m still processing. So to go through this when I’m already having a difficult time is not something I’m looking forward to.”
It seems like Oppenheim and Stause had a significant connection despite how short their romance was. The broker later said their relationship “felt real and deep and loving. I still love her, obviously, so it has been an extremely difficult process for me.”
When they announced their breakup in December, Oppenheim said, “While we have different wants regarding a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for one another.” Stause has said multiple times that she desires her own family, so it’s probably for the best that the two of them noticed the conflicting desires and ended their relationship early. Stause told People in February 2022 she is determined to have kids and even said being a mother on her own “seems a little freeing.”
This conflict will reportedly be explored on camera in season five of Selling Sunset, which premiered on Netflix on April 22. Check out the trailer below.
