Jamie Foxx has posted his first message on social media since he has hospitalized back in April – sitting atop a hot race car in Las Vegas.

“Thankful for my @betmgm family and a great few nights in Vegas. We got BIG things coming soon 🦊,” his message read.

Last week, Foxx was on the Chicago River on a boat, waving to his fans while smiling. He seems to have recovered and looked healthy on the boat. 

Foxx wore black sunglasses, a black t-shirt and matching black bottoms while hanging out with his friends. 

The news of his hospitalization was announced by his daughter Corinne Foxx on Instagram. She shared that her father faced a “medical complication” after filming in London with Cameron Diaz in the new Netflix film Back In Action. She wrote, “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.” 

Jamie additionally released a statement on May 3 writing, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed 🙏♥️ 🦊”

Details surrounding the hospitalization have not been released and the family has asked for privacy on the matter.

Due to Jamie’s medical emergency, Nick Cannon took over for him on Fox’s game show Beat Shazam, which Jamie was the producer and host of. 

Since then, Corinne has shared several posts with her father including a commercial they filmed for Intel laptops. On May 15, she additionally announced that she and her father will host a music game show together called We Are Family in 2024 on Fox.
