Jamie Foxx & Katie Holmes Reportedly Split After Six Years Together

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have officially split after six years of dating, it was reported this week.

Page Six reported that Holmes, 40, allegedly told a friend recently during dinner in New York City that she and Foxx have actually been separated for a long time.

“What Jamie does is his business – we haven’t been together for months,” the actress allegedly said of the 51-year-old Oscar winner and host of Fox’s music game show Beat Shazam. 

Recent reports also claimed Foxx was spotted leaving a nightclub with an unknown woman. It was later revealed the woman in question was Sela Vave, an up-and-coming singer Foxx has allegedly been collaborating with. However, there is no evidence to suggest the two are more than just friends working together. Vave posted this photo of her and Foxx on her Instagram:

Foxx, an actor and singer, has been rumored to have many romantic interests in recent years, and it remains unknown exactly who he has had as a partner.

Holmes and Foxx have been very secretive about their relationship since it began and only went public as a couple last year. They began dating in 2013, just one year after Holmes’ divorce from Tom Cruise, with whom she had been married for six years. Holmes and Foxx were even rumored to have been briefly engaged last year and called off their wedding, but the actress’s representative denied reports of this. Foxx and Holmes attended the Met Gala together earlier this year.

Foxx and Holmes’ split follows the headline-grabbing separation of Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, who parted ways over the weekend after photos surfaced of Cyrus kissing Kaitlynn Carter on a boat.

The season 3 finale of Beat Shazam, which features Foxx’s daughter Corinne Fox as the DJ, aired Monday night on Fox.
