Jamie Dornan Talks About The Not-So-Sexy Parts Of Filming ‘Fifty Shades’ [VIDEO]

Jamie Dornan says his nude scenes in the 50 Shades movies were shot with “wee bags” covering his privates – and there were no feelings of intimacy between him and his co-star, Dakota Johnson.

While on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dornan gave some insight into the not-so-sexy details while filming the 50 Shades movies. Starting with the “wee bags,” Dornan explained that the bags weren’t small and joking emphasized, “That’s an expression. I saw where I’m from – a wee – but it doesn’t mean it’s actually wee inside. I wear quite a big bag, I wear the huge travel kit and sort of stuff everything inside. I love to get to the stage where you own one, like you carry it around.”

What isn’t very sexy about the “wee bag” is that they weren’t new when he had to use them. “On the first movie I thought there would be – and there was – a selection of bags for me, and I picked one. And I thought I’d take them out of the packets, they’d be brand new. They’ll have that brand new smell. And then I sort of picked one that I liked the look of and the shape of, and then I picked it up and in the seam, it said, ‘Inmate Number Three.’ It was sewed in.”  Kimmel jokingly replied, “Something left over from the Shawshank Redemption.”

When Dornan spoke about his relationship with  Johnson, he noted their friendly vibes. “This is going to sound bad, but it’s almost like brother-sister because, you know, I am married and she’s had quite a few relationships in the time that I’ve known her,” Dornan said. The actor is married to Amelia Warner.
