Brad Pitt Involved In 3-Car Accident As Divorce Talks Become More Cordial

Brad Pitt was involved in a 3-car accident in Los Angeles on Monday, but no one was injured.

Pitt crashed his Tesla into a Nissan, which then hit the Kia in front of it. The actor was spotted exchanging insurance information with the two other drivers following the fender bender.

Pitt is currently going through a divorce with estranged wife Angelina Jolie. The pair share six children. When the couple first split in 2016, the situation was very contentious and difficult, but things seem to have settled down. They recently filed an extension with the LA courts for more time to figure out their custody agreement of their kids on their own.

“Well-known people are increasingly working things out in the private confines of their lawyers’ offices,” celebrity divorce attorney Marilyn Chinitz (not involved in Jolie-Pitt case) told Page Six. “It is damaging when personal matters come into public view. It’s so easy for children to Google their parents and see horrifying stories thrown out… Once the couple gets past the thorny issues, things often calm down, and we are even seeing a lot of couples getting back together.”

Last May, when speaking about the divorce, Pitt shared that he wants to be a better father and a better listener for his kids. “I grew up with a Father-knows-best/war mentality – the father is the all-powerful, super strong – instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles. And it’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce,” he told GQ. “Kids are so delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I’m not hearing. I want to be better at that.”
