Almost a year to the day after the late King of Pop’s death, Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine is speaking publicly for the first time about his three kids. Jackson provided his children a notoriously sheltered lifestyle, forcing them to cover their faces whenever they were out in public and having them home-schooled by a private tutor. But Katherine now says that she would like to give Prince, Paris and Blanket a more normal upbringing.

"I’ve tried to follow the way Michael was raising them," she told the UK’s Daily Mail. "But they don’t have friends. They don’t go to school. They have private lessons at home. They’ll be going to a private school in September for the first time." While she acknowledged that the children’s lives will never be completely normal, she hopes to come close while raising the children. Katherine made headlines earlier last week after her husband Joe publicly stated that she was responsible for their son’s death — a statement he later retracted. –ELENA COX

Good! Hopefully by associating with other kids and actually getting out of their house Jackson's children may have a chance of having a "normal" life !

These poor kids, good luck to them. I can't imagine having to be watched by the public eyes ever since they were born.
