‘Jackass’ Costar Bam Margera Arrested For Disorderly Conduct & Public Intoxication After Confrontation

Jackass costar Bam Margera was arrested after being caught publicly intoxicated in Philadelphia. 

The skateboarder was detained by authorities when an argument outside a hotel occurred, resulting in disorderly conduct.

“No one was injured or attacked. Our officers got there and he was actually kind of friendly with them, and cooperative and came with us when he had to,” Lieutenant Chris Four told 6ABC Action News. 

Eyewitnesses reported that before his arrest, Margera was attempting to get a hotel room around 3:15 a.m. When he arrived at the hotel, the doors were locked and used a phone to call the front desk. He was denied access because he did not make a reservation ahead of time. 

Later, a friend of Margera called the hotel to ask if they knew where Margera was. The friend was told that after he was unable to get into the hotel, he walked away.

Fifteen minutes after this phone call, the police went to the hotel looking for Margera. When searching the area, police found Margera and a woman, who called 911, arguing in the parking lot. They suspected he was drunk as authorities could smell alcohol on his breath and his words were “significantly slurred.”  Officers arrested Margera and he spent one night in jail. He was released on Wednesday. 

This arrest comes only two weeks after Margera was in court on July 27 for alleged assault charges. His brother accused him of punching him in the face after they had an argument. Margera pleaded not guilty to the two charges of simple assault and terroristic threats. He was able to pay his $50,000 bail.
