J.K. Rowling Defends Serena Williams, Wins Twitter – Again
J.K. Rowling, who had tuned in to watch Serena Williams face off against Garbine Muguruza at Wimbledon, defended the superstar athlete on Twitter to a rude fan.

Rowling was in the midst of live-tweeting the Williams-Murguruza match and its aftermath when a Twitter user body-shamed the six-time Wimbledon champion.

Prior to calling out the offending tweeter, Rowling had been gushing about the American tennis player, and clearly showing her bias in the game.

Williams, who has yet to address the support she received from the Harry Potter author, is women’s tennis’ World Number One. With her win at Wimbledon, she became the oldest player to ever win Wimbledon, and is one win away from achieving a calendar Grand Slam.
