Former President Donald Trump‘s daughter, Ivanka, caused a stir among her Instagram followers when she posted pictures of herself at a party with Kim Kardashian on Wednesday.

The two women attended the grand opening party of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a new casino in Las Vegas, along with a star-studded guest list that included Kendall Jenner, Tom Brady, Lenny Kravitz, Cher, Sylvester Stallone, Alice Cooper, Dita Von Teese, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley.

The event also featured a special performance by Justin Timberlake, with his wife Jessica Biel in attendance.

Ivanka shared images of her night out in Las Vegas on Instagram, which showcased her on the venue’s grounds, at Timberlake’s performance, and around the casino.

The photos that included Kardashian received negative comments from many of Ivanka’s followers.

“Sad to see someone like her with you. She hates your father,” one fan wrote.

Some cited Kardashian’s alleged dislike for Trump and expressed that they would no longer trust Ivanka due to her friendship with Kardashian.

Despite the backlash, there were also positive comments from supporters who saw Ivanka’s relationship with Kardashian as a potential sign of unity. Some users encouraged the country to stand together and praised Ivanka, and even suggested she could be a future president of the United States.

Kardashian has had a complex relationship with Trump, and a recent book by Jonathan Karl details the strained relationship between the two when Kardashian worked with Trump on criminal justice reform while he was president.

The book alleges that Trump asked Kardashian to get football players to visit him at the White House in exchange for commuting prison sentences, which she reportedly attempted but was unsuccessful.

Trump recently fired shots at Kardashian on Truth Social after Ivanka attended her birthday party, and labeled Kardashian “the world’s most-overrated celebrity.”
