Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, wore Carolina Herrera to the inaugural ball.
She chose a champagne-colored dress featuring sheer long sleeves and a deep V-neck with a full A-line skirt.
Herrera is an American designer who has dressed first ladies from Jackie Kennedy to Michelle Obama. She said back in December that she would have no problem dressing the women of Trump’s White House. “It is an honor to dress the first ladies of the country and it’s something to do for the United States,” she said. “It’s not for myself. It’s for the public.”
The champagne gown embellished with crystals by Herrera brought a sense of glamor to the ball. Ivanka’s sister, Tiffany Trump, whose mother is Donald’s ex-wife Marla Maples, opted for a pale silvery pink strapless gown by Simin Haute Couture and a pair of shoes by British designer Aruna Seth.
