Apprentice star Ivanka Trump, 29, had a recent surprise for her Twitter followers.

"I have been wanting to share some amazing news with you all for some time," the daughter of business tycoon and TV personality Donald Trump tweeted. "I'm pregnant!"

This will be the first child for Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, 30, a real estate businessman and owner of The New York Observer. The two married in October 2009. "Jared and I couldn't be more excited," Trump added.

Papa Trump also chimed in on the good news. "I know Ivanka and Jared will be great parents," the "Don" told People. "They're a wonderful couple." —KIMBERLY STEELE
