Ivanka Trump has given birth to a baby girl, the new mom announced to her fans and followers on Twitter on Sunday. "This morning @jaredkushner and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world," she said. "We feel incredibly grateful & blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!"
The daughter of business magnate Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump, Ivanka wed Jared Kushner, the owner of the The New York Observer, in 2009. She converted to Judaism before the wedding. The new bundle of joy, whose name has not been released, is the couple's first child and Donald's third grandchild. Ivanka's older brother, Donald Trump, Jr., already has two children.
Ivanka has kept her Twitter followers well in the loop about her pregnancy. On Thursday the jewelry designer and Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization tweeted that she was going into the office on her due date. "Heading to work (on my due date!) Instinct tells me that this little girl is not planning on making her debut today. We'll see!" she said. The baby came four days later.
