It's A Boy For Robert Downey Jr. And Wife Susan

On Tuesday morning actor Robert Downey Jr., 46, and his wife of six-and-a-half years, film producer Susan Downey, 38, welcomed their first child together, Exton Elias Downey.

Exton weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was measured at 20 inches long. Downey, for one, is likely relieved that his wife's pregnancy is over. Back in December, he complained about the pregnancy being harder on him than Susan. "Just the hormones and the mood stuff and the nausea, and the whole thing," he told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

This was the same interview on which he blurted out that his expected bundle of joy was to be a boy. Exton already has a big brother to show him the ropes. Indio, 18, is Downey's son from his first marriage with Deborah Falconer.

You can catch Downey reprising his role as Iron Man Tony Stark in May's highly anticipated Joss Whedon-helmed The Avengers, also starring Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany, and Mark Ruffalo.
