Is Colton Haynes Leaving 'Teen Wolf' After Two Seasons?

It's been a confusing and emotional day for Teen Wolf fans, who are being faced with the truly horrifying possibility that they might have to say goodbye to their favorite villain, Jackson, played by Colton Haynes, 24. That's right — there are rumors swirling that Haynes is saying goodbye after two seasons on the MTV series, possibly due to a breakdown in contract negotiations or outside offers for Haynes.

"Colton is leaving Teen Wolf," a source told Us Weekly. "It's not that he didn't want to return because he did. It's that the heads of the show wanted to limit him to only appearing on half the season —12 episodes, not 24," the source explained.

Adding fuel to the rumors was a Tweet by Haynes himself. "These past few yrs have been the best of my life. I'm sad that this chapter has ended, but excited for a new one to begin. Thanks for the love."

So get ready for the confusion. A spokesperson for MTV revealed that there is "absolutely no truth that Colton is being pushed out or that he, or any other cast member, is being replaced. We love Colton and look forward to his returning with the entire cast for season three of Teen Wolf."

Looks like we'll just have to wait for 2013's season three of Teen Wolf, also starring Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Dylan O'Brien, Holland Roden and Tyler Posey, to find out.
