Ryan Reynolds donned a taped-on Hugh Jackman mask in a hilarious scene from his hit film Deadpool. Jackman finally decided to pay Reynolds back by wearing his own Reynolds mask, for a funny Instagram video celebrating Reynolds’ star on the Hollywood Walk of fame.

Hugh Jackman Dons Ryan Reynolds Mask In Instagram Video

“Ryan Reynolds here. Method actor. I’m working on my Australian accent. I’m doing a Crocodile Dundee 7. You’re gonna love it,” Jackman said in the video, as he held up a paper cut-out of Reynolds’ face. “You may remember me from such things as People Magazine’s 2010 Sexiest Man Alive or the 12th best DC Comics movie Green Lantern.”

“Who would have thought just three years after getting a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, I would be getting a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame?” Jackman joked. “How could a guy who failed his high school drama class be this talented?”

The X-Men actor couldn’t help but mention himself in the video, taking one final dig at his friend.

“I have no answer for that,” Jackman said. “But to quote my favorite actor in the world, the great Australian Hugh Jackman, who, by the way, was People’s Sexiest Man Alive way before me, ‘Americans are the most generous country on the planet.’”

Reynolds told EW earlier this month that he would love to do a Wolverine/Deadpool film, because he loves working with Jackman.

“Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings,” Reynolds praised. “Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy.”
