Hoover Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner: Powerfully Underrated
For all the minimalists out there seeking a no frills vacuum cleaner, Hoover has just the right product. The Hoover Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner is just that — a cordless stick vacuum cleaner and nothing more. It’s not as fancy as Dyson’s 360 Eye Robot Vacuum, but the Linx is being hailed for its simplicity and exceptional performance.
Hoover Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner Review
The Hoover Linx offers no extra brush attachments and even looks a bit retro (charmingly so). While not as visually flashy as Dyson’s products, the design is clean and uncomplicated. It’s got a metallic silver and black finish and the red Hoover logo is placed tastefully on the front. And say goodbye to back pain because this vacuum cleaner only weighs 7.3 pounds. While lighter stick vacuums exist, the Hoover Linx is half the weight of upright vacuums.
The mechanics of the Hoover Linx is equally uncomplicated. There are three modes of operation: on, on with suction only (for hardwood and bare floors) and one with suction and brush roll (for carpets). Linx runs on a lithium battery and a separate charger. Users can track the battery life the LED status bar. Stick vacuums aren’t mean for heavy duty cleaning and are designed for quick, on the surface pickup. They also usually free you from bending. So for a stick vacuum, the Hoover Linx is a steal.
