Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman and Joey King celebrated the premiere of their new romantic comedy, A Family Affair, in Los Angeles.

The co-stars hit the red carpet at the Egyptian Theatre for the film’s launch event. Efron, 36, wore a sharp gray suit with a fitted black shirt and black dress shoes, while King wore a sheer black skirt and top adorned with flowers.

In the movie, Efron plays Chris Cole, a womanizing movie star whose new assistant, Zara, portrayed by 24-year-old King, quits working for him due to his demanding behavior. The film takes a twist when Zara discovers her widowed mother, Brooke, played by Kidman, has become romantically involved with Chris.

A Family Affair reunites Efron with director Richard LaGravenese, who he previously worked with on P.S. I Love You in 2007.

Liza Koshy and Kathy Bates also star in the film, which Carrie Solomon wrote. It will be streaming on Netflix on June 28.

In 2014, Efron spoke to uInterview exclusively about his film That Awkward Moment. To Efron, the movie was about capturing male friendship in a new light. “[My friends] teach me things, and I learn from them that nobody else could have taught me. They’re intelligent they’re funny, they’re charismatic, they’re nerds. We have a bond,” Efron said. “And I really think this movie examines that and then also shows how we rely on each other through relationships. I don’t know I’ve never seen anything quite like it.”
