Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested in Oklahoma on Friday for allegedly driving under the influence, marking his second DUI charge this year.

The 43-year-old actor, whose recent years have been marked by multiple legal troubles, was booked by the Custer County Sheriff’s Office and charged with DUI and driving without a valid license, according to the sheriff’s office records.

Earlier this year, he faced another DUI charge in February. Additionally, in 2023, Bryan was convicted of felony assault, following an arrest related to a domestic violence case involving his fiancée, for which he pleaded guilty. He received three years of probation as part of the agreement.

In Bryan’s 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he described his 2020 incident as “not even really that physical.”

“We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear,” Bryan recalled. “At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something.”

Tim Allen, who played Bryan’s on-screen father in Home Improvement, acknowledged his former co-star’s challenges in the same interview with The Reporter. “I don’t know what’s going on with him,” said Allen, describing Bryan as “a great kid who has grown into a complex man.”

He expressed concern about Bryan’s struggles, adding, “All you can do is step aside and let somebody go through their process. At a certain point, he deviated from the guy I know to somebody reacting to situations beyond my control.”
