In addition to only referring to Hillary Clinton as “she” and “her” at the third presidential debate, Donald Trump avoided shaking hands with the Democratic presidential candidate as well.
During the last three debates, the conversation between the nominees was less than cordial, and they never shook hands. That did not change during the third and final presidential debate last night.
Trump got flak for the way he lurked behind Clinton as she answered questions during the Town Hall debate in Missouri. Neither candidate attempted a hand shake, and given the toxic climate of this year’s election, it is easy to understand their trepidation.
While the last debate was more evenly matched than the previous two, most pundits agreed that Clinton won the third debate. At one point, Trump breathed into his microphone that Clinton is “such a nasty woman.” The comment has prompted the Internet to embrace the hashtag #NastyWoman.
