“She had made some very specific threats to deputies after her last arrest,” Captain Mike Beckett told Entertainment Tonight. “There was a firearm registered in her name, so the purpose of the search was simply to go and look for that firearm.”
She was initially arrested after police were called to her home and she was booked on suspicion of felony domestic violence and three counts of battery, as she allegedly attacked the three responding officers. “She was immediately uncooperative,” Capt. Garo Kuredijan told the Daily News at the time. “She started pushing and kicking when the deputies determined probable cause for the domestic battery and they were attempting to arrest her.”
According to a press release from the police, the actress “told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again.”
While Locklear has had her share of substance abuse issues over the years, Heisser was arrested for a DUI just hours after the domestic dispute. His blood alcohol content was at .19.
Locklear was released on $20,000 bail that night, and is due in court on March 13.
