Heather Locklear Hospitalized After Reportedly Attacking Her Parents & Threatening To Kill Herself
Actress Heather Locklear was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation following an incident on Sunday in which she allegedly choked her mother, hit her father, and threatened to kill herself. No criminal charges have been filed, as the incident is only being reported as a medical matter.
This latest disturbance follows a February 25 domestic violence incident with Locklear’s live-in boyfriend Steve Heisser, for which she was charged with misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer and resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer.

Family and friends have been concerned for Locklear’s mental health in the wake of these incidents as well as a recent pattern of drug and alcohol abuse.

Locklear is best known for playing the part of Amanda Woodward on the 90s nighttime soap Melrose Place. Her most recent work has been a recurring role on the Tyler Perry-produced TLC series Too Close to Home and a guest spot on a 2017 episode of Fresh Off the Boat.
