Days after being fired from The Mandalorian, Hasbro decided that it will no longer create toys for Gina Carano‘s character on the Disney+ show.

“The Star Wars Black Cara Dune figure was released in 2020 and sold our not long after the inventory was received,” read a statement from the toy company. “Hasbro planned for another production run and we were accepting pre-orders from that production run. Due to recent events, Hasbro was no longer approved to produce any more of this figure.”

Carano was fired by LucasFilm last week for her controversial social media statements, including transphobic and anti-LGBTQ comments, questioned pandemic mask wearing and compared being a Republican in today’s America to being a Jew in Nazi Germany.

“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable,” said a statement from Lucasfilm.

On February 12, Carano released her own statement about her firing with an announcement that she was developing and producing a movie of her own with The Daily Wire, a conservative website. “I cried out and my prayer was answered,” she said. “I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob. I have inly just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.”

Conservative fans of Carano have called for a boycott of Disney+ in the wake of her firing from the Star Wars series. A petition to rehire her has circulated on the internet. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) had even called Disney out on her termination.
