Hannibal Buress
Hannibal Buress revealed that he received death threats after his stand-up about Bill Cosby’s rape allegations went viral.
Buress, who was credited with reigniting media’s interest in the many rape allegations against Cosby, joked about the death threats in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“It’s definitely a weird situation, I get a lot of messages about it,” Buress confessed to Kimmel. “The weirdest thing about getting a death threat from a male bodybuilder-slash-stripper on Facebook is when you click on his profile and see that you have one mutual friend,” Buress said with a laugh.
Buress didn’t appear particularly phased by the death threats, and Kimmel moved on to talk about Buress’ part in Justin Bieber’s upcoming Comedy Central Roast.
