Grimes Gets Huge Leg Tattoo With Goal Of Having ‘Full Alien Body,’ Says She’s ‘Closer’ To Getting Face Tattoo

On Thursday, Grimes, the Canadian musician and ex of Elon Musk, revealed her fresh full-length leg tattoo that sprawls from ankle to thigh on Instagram.

“V nice, v nice,” the 35-year-old “Oblivion” singer wrote over the photo of her new red ink body art collection that consists of tangled lines, expressing her satisfaction with the work made by tattoo artist Daniela.

This enormous leg tattoo is not the only ink Grimes received that day.

The mother of son X AE A-XII and daughter Exa also posted an Instagram story of a similarly styled ear motif in black ink, captioning “one step closer to face tattoo.”

In September, Grimes first mentioned wanting a white-ink tattoo on her face and asked her Instagram fans for ideas. 

“I am very seriously considering getting a white ink tattoo on my face next week. Any thoughts? It feels like it’s time,” Grimes wrote in a caption. 

Previously, Grimes has indicated her goal of having “a full alien body … totally covered in white ink.” She started the journey of “alien scars” back in April 2021.

Grimes’ new ink creations have received mostly appreciation for their sophisticated design from fans on social media. 

Some were confused and raised questions from many users on Twitter. “It’s cool, but what is it?” wrote one fan.
