Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen broke down in tears to police officers during a traffic stop. In Surfside, Florida, 30 minutes from Miami, police stopped Bündchen’s Mercedes G-Wagon.

Bodycam footage shows Bündchen, 43, telling police that paparazzi were following her. Bündchen was visibly upset as she explained the situation.

“I was just trying to stay away from that guy,” Bündchen said. “He’s right there in that gray car.”

The officer acknowledged her concerns but stated, “I’ll give you a courtesy today. I understand who you are; there’s nothing I can do about that.”

Bündchen began to cry on the footage. The officer then told Bündchen to file a police report after the model emotionally said she was “so tired.”

“Everywhere I go, I have these f—— guys after me. Nothing protects me. I can’t do nothing. I just want to live my life.”

The officer told Bündchen he could not “prevent them from doing their job.”

Bündchen left the traffic stop after the officer approached the vehicle with the paparazzi and ordered them to leave. After the incident went public, Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett slammed the officer’s reaction in a letter to the Surfside Police Department’s Chief of Police.

“This response is wholly unacceptable and not reflective of the values, judgment and service residents expect from their police,” he said. “The dismissive posture towards a resident who is clearly in distress is everything we do not want to see in the way our police interact and serve our residents.”

The model and ex-wife of retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady moved to Florida after Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Following their divorce in October 2022, Bündchen stayed in Florida with their two children Benjamin and Vivian.
