Joe Francis, the founder and creator of the Girls Gone Wild empire, was arrested Friday for attacking an employee at the Girls Gone Wild offices.
By paying the offices a visit, Francis broke the rules of a restraining order, which prohibits him from getting within 100 feet of the building, according to TMZ. When a security guard attempted to stop him, Francis dodged him and managed to get up to the 10th floor of the building.
While Francis tried to get passed a Girls Gone Wild employee to get into the office, the security guard had dialed up the police. Before law enforcement arrived, the attacked employee managed to make a citizen’s arrest. Francis was subsequently taken to the local station by police and charged with misdemeanor battery and released.
Because Francis violated his restraining order, it’s possible he could face jail time. He’s currently awaiting a hearing.
