Kristen Wiig is front and center on one of the new character posters released ahead of the premiere of the much-anticipated, female-driven Ghostbusters reboot.
Wiig, as ghostbuster Erin Gilbert, looks a bit wary on the character poster, ghost-fighting gun in hand. Her quote card reads, “That stuff went everywhere by the way, in every crack.”
“Theoretical physics is Holtzmann’s job, wordplay is her passion,” the poster of Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann is captioned on Twitter.
The poster of Leslie Jones as Patty Tolan is captioned, “Ghosts scare people. Patty scares ghosts. #Ghostbusters.”
This week, Ghostbusters also dropped a sneak peek of Chris Hemsworth as the ghostbuster team’s secretary, Kevin. “Kevin is a big dumb puppy dog,” Hemsworth says of his character in the clip. McKinnon calls him, “A Ken doll with the insides scooped out.”
Ghostbusters, directed by Paul Feig and also starring Melissa McCarthy, is slated to hit theaters July 15.
