Country legend George Strait, 67, is coming out of hiding after recently booking about a dozen dates that stretch into next year. He’ll be making stops at a couple of music festivals before he co-headlines two Vegas shows with Ashley McBryde, after which he’ll perform some solo shows in several cities in the U.S.

While he’s used to making headlines in music news publications, the singer recently found some fame in realty and business publications when his former mansion when on the market for a staggering $8.9 million. The four-bedroom and six-bathroom manor is located in San Antonio and has a swimming pool in the 8,000 square-foot property.

Strait’s most recent album Honky Tonk Time Machine is available on all streaming platforms, but it’s unclear yet whether he’ll be performing songs from the album or sticking to the songs that made him a household name during the 70s, 80s and 90s.
