Game of Thrones, which will kick off its heavily anticipated third season on March 31, has just released an extended version of the season’s trailer.

Set to the foreboding sounds of MS MR’s entrancing track “Bones,” Game of Thrones' extended trailer promises more trials and tribulations ahead for the characters – as well as some action in the bedroom for Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrigton). Cersei (Lena Headey) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) seem certain to perpetuate their sibling rivalry, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) discovers the location of her dragons and a bear becomes part of the ensemble cast, as Uinterview reported in January.

The last trailer released by HBO for their much-loved fantasy series featured a montage of returning characters looking into the camera as Ptery Baelish (Aiden Gillen) provided the sinister voiceover. “Chaos isn’t a pit; chaos is a ladder,” the Master of Coin recited. “Many who try to climb it will fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. Some are given a chance to climb. They cling to the realm, or the gods, or love. Only the ladder is real; the climb is all there is.”

Season 3 of Game of Thrones premieres on Sunday, March 31 on HBO at 8/9c.
