Friends actor David Schwimmer denied reports that he and his former co-star Jennifer Aniston spent time together romantically.

A representative for Schwimmer told the UK Sun that there is “no truth” to the rumors that he and Aniston are romantically involved.

Whispers that the two may be dating started when a source told Closer Magazine that when the two saw each other while filming Friends: The Reunion, the reconnection “stirred up feelings.”

“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA,” said the source.

The source also stated that Aniston had been cooking dinners for Schwimmer at her home, and that they had also been spotted visiting a winery together in Santa Barbara, California.

The Friends co-stars got fans excited when they revealed during the reunion that they had harbored feelings for each other while working together on the comedy series.

“The first season, I had a major crush on Jen,” Schwimmer revealed. “At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other – but it was like two ships passing [in the night] because one of us was always in a relationship.”

“We never crossed that boundary, we respected that,” Schwimmer added.

Aniston also revealed she had feelings for Schwimmer, saying that the two didn’t want to share their first kiss on the show.

“I remember saying at one point to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is…on national television.’ Sure enough, the first time we kissed was in that coffee shop,” she said during the reunion. “So we just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.”
