Jenna Ellis, a lawyer for former President Donald Trump, called him a “malignant narcissist” who cannot admit mistakes, announcing that she will not vote for him in the future.

“I simply can’t support him for elected office again. Why I have chosen to distance is because of that frankly malignant narcissistic tendency to simply say that he’s never done anything wrong,” she said while speaking on her show on American Family Radio.

Last month, Ellis pleaded guilty to making false statements over attempts to reverse the results of the 2020 election, which Trump had lost to President Joe Biden.

Ellis, 38, was among 18 of Trump’s associates charged with him in Georgia over attempts to subvert the election results in the state.

She was charged with flouting state anti-racketeering laws and solicitation of violation of an oath by a public officer.

Ellis has also represented the Thomas More Society, a conservative Catholic group.

Trump approached Ellis after he saw her commentary on television. She became part of Trump’s team in 2020, which she referred to as an “elite strike force team” working to reverse Trump’s election defeat.

Trump is faced with four federal counts related to election subversion, 40 federal counts related to retention of classified information, 34 state counts in New York over hush-money payments and civil cases, including a $250 million lawsuit lodged by the New York attorney general over his business affairs.

Additionally, he faces a defamation lawsuit arising from a rape allegation that a  judge called “substantially true.”
