Former ‘SNL’ Star & Conservative Firebrand Victoria Jackson Announces She Has Terminal Cancer & Just Months To Live

Victoria Jackson, the former Saturday Night Live cast member, delivered a brutal message to her followers this week when she opened up about her battle with cancer.

In a video titled “Is the Cancer Back?” the 65-year-old comedian shared the news that her cancer has returned, and the doctors have informed her that they cannot surgically remove the “marble” in her chest that is pressing on her windpipe, which could eventually lead to her suffocation.

Jackson explained that she had been prescribed a “magic pill” meant to “shrink” the growth, but her research indicates that people who take this medication typically have 32.6 months, or roughly 34.8 months, to live.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Jackson expressed a mix of emotions and recalled a recent night when she thought she “Heard God say, ‘Ready to come home?'” She noted, “And he didn’t say it like, ‘You’re coming home now.’ He just said it like we were hanging out.”

However, she also shared her desire to witness the birth of her upcoming grandchild, due in October, and to see her daughter have a child of her own.

Jackson, known for her right-wing political views, went on to repeat the conservative talking point that immigrants commit more crimes. “So I’m dying in three months if I don’t have a heart attack or get hit by a car or a meteor or a terrorist, you know, an illegal,” he said.

She also used the video to address her concerns about the current state of the world, which she described as “kind of exploding right now with Satanic things.” However, she also acknowledged that “we’re all dying” and stated that she “wouldn’t change anything.”

Jackson has been a controversial figure in the past. Last year, she protested an LGBTQ Pride parade at a city council meeting in Franklin, Tennessee. In 2011, she lashed out against a Glee episode in which two men kissed.
