A private investigator and former FBI agent has corroborated the allegation that Jamie Spears recorded his daughter Britney Spears in her bedroom during her conservatorship.

The investigator, Sherine Ebadi, said she “corroborated” the claim that Jamie asked the firm Black Box Security “to place a secret recording device in Spears’s bedroom,” according to a declaration filed Tuesday by Britney’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart. Ebadi now works for Kroll Associates, an investigative firm that has been providing services for Britney’s attorneys.

This disturbing accusation was first made last year when The New York Times interviewed Alex Vlasov, a former employee of Black Box. Ebadi had a meeting of her own with Vlasov, concluding that he was a “highly-credible” witness.

According to Vlasov, Black Box was already monitoring Britney’s phone by the time he joined the firm in 2012, and Ebadi “personally reviewed” communications from his electronics that showed evidence of the monitoring.

Through more questioning, Ebadi also learned that reportedly, “Black Box was initially responsible for suggesting that a secret listening device e planted in Ms. Spears’s bedroom, but Mr. Spears ‘loved’ the idea and approved and instructed that the installation move forward.”

Jamie removed himself as Britney’s conservator in late September after 14 years of being in charge of every aspect of her life, and it was finally terminated on Nov 12, 2021.
