Foo Fighters Perform At Fourth Annual iHeart Radio ATLer EGO Concert
iHeart Radio hosted its fourth annual ATLer EGO concert on Jan. 28. Fans were unable to attend the event in person because of COVID-19, but iHeart Radio live streamed the event for free on LivexLive and on iHeart Media alternative and rock stations.
The event was hosted by Woody of iHeartRadio ALT 98.7’s nationally-syndicated The Woody Show and featured new performances and stories from Foo Fighters and Billie Eilish.
Foo Fighters began the show by performing “Everlong.” The band also played “Shame Shame,” “Waiting On A War” and “The Pretender.” Eilish closed the virtual concert, performing “Therefore I Am,” “Everything I Wanted” and “My Future,” along with her other hit songs with her brother Finneas.
The event also showed previous ALTer EGO performances by Beck, The Black Keys, blink-182, Cage The Elephant, Coldplay, The Killers, Mumford & Sons, Muse, twenty one pilots and Weezer between Foo Fighters and Eilish.
“(Pending a COVID test) I’ll be happy to roll up my sleeves (sport a mask, a face shield and anything else to obscure my face) and help kick off 2021 proper, with a unique ALTer Ego production that will serve as warm-up for the impending return to normalcy,” said Woody in a statement released by iHeart Media.
