Melania Trump will attend Barbara Bush‘s funeral on Saturday.

The First Lady will be traveling to Texas and paying her respects to the former matriarch of the Bush dynasty. Her husband George H. W. Bush was president from 1998 to 1993 and her son George W. Bush was president from 2001 to 2009. She died at the age of 92 on April 17 after deciding to not longer receive medical treatment for her failing health.

She was an advisor to her husband and defender to her children. The former first lady was not afraid to speak her mind. While her son, Jeb was running in the 2016 primary election, he was ridiculed by President Donald Trump. Barbara responded in an interview with CNN suggesting Trump was a misogynist. “He’s said terrible things about women, about the military. I don’t understand why people are for him, for that reason,” she said. “I’m a woman. I’m not crazy what he says about women.”

Trump tweeted a response to Jeb’s mother calling him out, “Wow, Jeb Bush, whose campaign is a total disaster, had to bring in mommy to take a slap at me. Not nice!”

Given the bad blood between the political families, President Trump has elected not to attend.

Her funeral will be held at St. Martin’s Church in Texas and her wish to have a simple service will be upheld. The public will be able to pay their respects on Friday, but the burial ceremony will be a private event. Melania Trump will return to Washington after attending the funeral service.

Barbara Bush is survived by her husband George H. W. Bush, her sons George W., Neil, Marvin and Jeb; her daughter Dorothy Bush Koch and 17 grandchildren.
