Fans Think Kanye West Is Teasing New Yeezy Sneakers [PHOTOS]

Social media is abuzz with a rumor rumor that Kanye West might have a new pair of Yeezys coming out.

On July 10, West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, were spotted in Los Angeles wearing mismatched outfits.

Kardashian West wore leather pants and a tube top, while West was wearing blue sweatpants and a black crewneck sweater. On his feet were, what seems to be, a new pair of Yeezys.

The alleged new pair of shoes have a light green color with grey laces. There is also some black, white, and darker green detailing on the sides of the shoes.

It is not clear on whether or not it is actually a new sneaker drop, but it is speculated that it could be the new version of the Yeezy Boost 700 VX that was teased last summer but never made it to the market.

According to Forbes, the brand Yeezy is on pace to top $1.5 billion in sales for 2019. The company competes directly with the Jordan brand owned by Nike.

West collaborated with Adidas for the shoe brand back in 2015 with the Yeezy 750 Boost “Grey” as the first sneaker to be released.

The rapper was sued last year by Japanese fabric company, Toki-Sen-I Co., for allegedly failing to pay them for fabrics they provided. The company claimed that West tried to cheat them out of money by creating a fake company. He was sued for $624,051.

He was also in another legal battle for trying to trademark the term “Yeezy” and “Yeezus” in a trademark battle with Chinese apparel company Fujian Baby Network Technology Co, after discovering they named an item “Yeezy Boost” as part of their own line.
