Fans Angered As MAC Cosemetics Selena Collection Sells Out

MAC Cosmetics launched a makeup line in honor of Selena, the famed Tejano singer who was killed in 1995.

SELENA FANS OUTRAGED WHEN MAC COLLECTION SELLS OUT

MAC unveiled the collection on Friday in Corpus Christi, Texas, the late singer’s hometown. The products went live online on Saturday and supplies were sold out by the end of the day. Angry fans took to social media to air their complaints about receiving error messages when trying to complete their purchases.

MAC has assured their customers that the collection will be available on the web from major sellers and retailers today, and the products will make their way onto shelves on Thursday.

Selena Quintanilla-Perez was shot on stage by her fan club’s president Yolanda Saldívar, who is serving a life sentence in prison. Selena was famously portrayed by Jennifer Lopez in the 1997 biopic of the singer’s life.
