In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, comedian Jay Morgan shared details about his guest role at St. Denis Medical, a mockumentary workplace comedy that takes place at the fictional understaffed hospital, where the doctors and nurses must navigate their stressful jobs. Morgan gave an overview of how he fits into the plot to uInterview founder Erik Meers: “I’m going to be honest with you, the role of Colby Twill was an incredibly difficult role to step into, so far from what I normally do. Some might say I’m the Daniel Day-Lewis of guest-star acting at this point in my career. No, I mean, it was a lot of fun, it wasn’t a huge stretch, I got to have a lot of fun with the character.” Reflecting on his favorite behind the scenes moments, Morgan said, “On my last day there, [Josh Lawson] came to my trailer to say bye, and he said bye but like he was saying bye in an Australian accent, and I was like, ‘I don’t — this is weird, what are you doing?’ And I had no idea he was Australian! I thought — his American accent was so good on the show that I had no idea.” St. Denis Medical can be watched on Tuesday nights NBC and streamed on Peacock and Hulu.
