Ex-MLB Star Alex Rodriguez Celebrates Daughter Natasha’s High School Graduation
Alex Rodriguez, 47, shared an Instagram post to congratulate his oldest daughter Natasha Rodriguez for graduating from high school.
“Yesterday was bittersweet,” the former Yankees player wrote. “Tashi, I can’t make time stand still, so my wish for you is to go out in the world with confidence, knowing your worth and believing in yourself.”
He continued, saying that he was most proud of her qualities as a person. He described her as “honest, kind, compassionate, intuitive and wise beyond your years.”
Natasha, 18, responded to her dad’s post, commenting, “Thank you Daddy.”
The first photo shows Rodriguez and his family. Natasha is standing next to her younger sisters Ella and Camilla as well as her mother Cynthia Scurtis and stepfather Angel Nicolas. Rodriguez shares Natasha and Ella with Scurtis, who married Nicolas after the two had split.

Natasha declared on Instagram in April that she plans to attend the University of Michigan in pursuit of a BFA in musical theatre. She said that she couldn’t believe the opportunity she had been given and that it was a “dream come true.”
Rodrigeuz appeared on CBS Mornings to talk about his daughter’s graduation and a letter he wrote to her.
“I couldn’t finish the letter because I started breaking down,” he shared. “It was at my house, we had a bunch of family over and I basically said, ‘I’m supposed to be your role model, and here you are at 18 and you’re my role model.'”
