Garfield, 30, and Stone, 25, stunned as they made their way through the photographers in London’s Leicester Square. Stone wore a floor-length yellow gown by Versace, David Webb jewelry, Christian Louboutin shoes and a Lanvin clutch. Her other half Garfield kept it simple in a black suit and silver tie.

In The Amazing Spider-Man films, Stone plays the Gwen Stacy to Garfield’s Spider-Man. Joining the cast for the superhero film’s sequel is Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, and Jamie Foxx in the role of villain Electro.

Talking about the second Amazing Spider-Man installment, director Marc Webb about the emotional nature of the film and how he sought to lighten it up. “I don’t like the idea of this being known as a darker film, but there are certainly great emotional stakes at work,” Webb told the Los Angeles Times about the film.

“We literally wanted to shoot more in the daylight, to explore the lightness of Spider-Man, the humor, the comic-booky kind of wit that he had,” he added. “Electro shows up better at night just because of the contrast.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is slated for a May 2 release.
