Elon Musk Denies Romantic Relationship With Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni After Photos Of Them Getting Cozy Circulate
X CEO Elon Musk denied the rumor that he and the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are in a romantic relationship.
Meloni reportedly asked Musk to introduce her at the Global Citizen Award ceremony, where the Washington, D.C. think tank had honored her.
During the last Monday event, the X CEO stated that Meloni is “even more beautiful on the inside than she is on the outside.”
“Giorgia Meloni is someone that I admire that has done an incredible job as the prime minister of Italy,” he added.
“Italy is experiencing record economic growth, record low unemployment; it’s great,” he noted. “And she’s also someone who is authentic, honest, truthful, and, you know, that cannot always be said about politicians.”
After Meloni and Musk were photographed grinning at each other while sitting side-by-side at the awards ceremony, rumors spread that suggested a romantic relationship between them.
Comments on X increased the speculation.
“Elon made his 40th baby mama,” user @Soze_Kieser wrote.
“Absolute love,” @o_incensuravel declared.
“You can see it in her eyes,” another user, @AmericaPapaBear, noted.
On Monday night, the Tesla CEO shot down these rumors in an X post of his own.
“I was there with my Mom,” Musk wrote last week. “There is no romantic relationship whatsoever with PM Meloni.”
In early September, Musk was slammed on X for posting an A.I.-generated image of the vice president that depicted her as a “communist dictator.”
More than a week later, he was criticized on social media for offering singer-songwriter Taylor Swift a child.
