Ed Henry, Fox News’ chief White House correspondent, is taking some time off following allegations of an affair.
Earlier this week, a story was published about a Las Vegas hostess named Natalia Lima carrying on an affair with Henry in In Touch Weekly. According to Lima, Henry had been cheating on his wife — NPR deputy Washington editor Shirley Hugg – for at least 10 months. Apparently Henry and Lima first became acquainted back in 2011, only a year after the reporter had married Hung. What had started off as a flirty relationship between Lima and Henry allegedly turned sexual within the last year.
“Whenever he was in town, we would pretty much just have sex,” Lima told In Touch. “He has a really high sex drive.” Lima claims that Henry stopped contacting her in February of this year.
In response to the write-up of Lima’s allegations, Fox News released a statement to announce that Henry would be taking a break from his on-air duties as he sorted out his personal life.
“We recently became aware of Ed’s personal issues and he’s taking some time off to work things out,” a Fox News spokesperson told Politico.
As of yet, Henry, who served as CNN’s White House correspondent from 2004 to 2011, has not personally commented on the alleged affair.
