Donald Trump Tweets ‘SNL’ Is ‘Unwatchable’ After Alec Baldwin Sketch On Tweets [VIDEO]
Alec Baldwin returned on Saturday Night Live this week to mock Donald Trump‘s love of tweeting. The President-elect then proceeded to respond with an angry tweet.
SNL Sketch Addresses Trump’s Tweets
Last night’s episode of SNL featured Baldwin’s Trump at a security briefing in which he continually gets distracted and turns to his phone instead. The show mocked Trump’s love of tweeting.
“I just retweeted the best tweet. I mean, wow, what a great, smart tweet,” Baldwin as Trump said after sharing a post by a 16-year-old high schooler.
“Mr. Trump, please stop retweeting all these random, real people. You’re not getting any work done,” an adviser asks in the sketch.
“There is a reason actually that Donald tweets so much,” Kate McKinnon as Kellyanne Conway explains. “He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the very scary people in his cabinet.”
“Actually, that’s not why I do it,” Trump responds. “I do it because my brain is bad.”
Ironically, after the show, Trump took to Twitter to criticize Baldwin’s portrayal of him. He called the parody “sad” and the show “unwatchable”.
Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

Subsequently, Baldwin responded to Trump’s tweet with “Release your tax returns and I’ll stop.”
